Allegri Delighted with Milan Progress

As Milan thanked a moment of magic from Zlatan Ibrahimovic following the 1-0 victory over Fiorentina, coach Massimiliano Allegri praised the Rossoneri’s unity as the key to securing all three points.

“We secured a suffered victory this evening,” he declared to SkySport.

“This victory is an important sign of the unity within the side. We have reached a mental balance that is also evident in training during the week.

“Such a balance eventually pays dividends and of course when you have a player such as Ibrahimovic it is much easier to break open the deadlock. He scored a wonderful goal and is proving to be a fundamental part of our winning make-up.

“I am happy for the entire squad tonight however, as I saw some important performances from a number of players. [Daniele] Bonera for example did a wonderful job down the right and merit must be paid to the boys at the back who rolled up their sleeves and battled when the visitors looked to come back at us.”

Glad to have us back on winning tracks Mr. Allegri!

Just don't keep Dinho on the bench for too long!

Ibracadabra Magical Goal Brought Down Fiorentina

Zlatan Ibrahimovic returned as AC Milan hero. After last week brought down his club Inter Milan, this time a magical goal from Ibrahimovic brought Rossoneri to overcome Fiorentina 1-0.

Ibrahimovic scored the only goal that is created in a duel which was staged at the Stadio San Siro on Sunday (21/11/2010) with a truly magical way. Received the cross from the right field, Ibra lifted the ball before scored using a bicycle kick to the left side.

After scoring the ball, in unusual way, Ibra celebrate the goal by throwing fist in the air. He got injured on his elbow during that celebration. Maybe a pulled strain. Hope nothing serious.

Milan 1-0 win over Fiorentina make a solid stand on the top of Serie A. Massimiliano Allegri's forces were collecting 29 points from 13 matches, four points ahead of Lazio who still have one game in hand.

Line up:
Milan: Abbiati; Bonera, Silva, Nesta, Zambrotta; Gattuso, Ambrosini, Seedorf (Ronaldinho 86), Flamini; Robinho (Boateng 77), Ibrahimovic

Milan - Fiorentina Preview

Another tough test for Milan as Fiorentina about to San Siro..

Without Inzaghi and Pato that still injured, and also Ronaldinho who might be sitting on the bench as the result of his going out at night, guess we have to put our faith on Ibra then.

Still can't rely on Robinho..

Fiorentina: Sebastian Frey, Ricardo Montolivo, Stevan Jovetic, Felipe, and Adrian Mutu out (injured)
